Let me start by saying that my visits with Cheyenne at Healing Wizdom Salon and Spa have helped me more than I ever expected. I started seeing Cheyenne a few months back to try and help with the constant lower back pain I was experiencing. I was just hoping to get some sort of relief by getting a massage. I see Cheyenne weekly and it’s helped me beyond what I could’ve ever imagined. I rarely have lower back pain now and she’s helped with my neck and shoulders as well to prevent further problems. There is such a warm energy that you feel when you step into Healing Wizdom. It’s not just the great services they provide, but the compassion/friendliness of the staff that makes Healing Wizdom extra special. A conversation that you had with a staff member last month feels like it naturally picks back up again when you return to Healing Wizdom for your next appointment. It makes you feel like they genuinely care and take an interest in you.

By appointment I have enjoyed the professional comfort of Laurice Johnson's massage & spiritual skills. She knows just what I need no matter what is hurting or troubling me. The spa is a healing retreat and Laurice is one of the best therapist I have ever had. She makes it personal, not just a professional rub. Her years of experience are only part of her gift. Tamara at Healing Wizdom gives the best Brazilian waxes, hands down. I am a 3rd year graduate medical student in town and have searched endlessly for someone that does it right. After 4 salons and 7 aestheticians, I finally found someone that really knows the ins and outs of giving a great wax. After my first appointment with Tam, I was amazed with how long I was hairless. I had no growth at all for much longer than ever before. After other waxes, I had gone home and plucked all of the little pieces they had missed, but Tam is thorough and meticulous. Her techniques are such that healing time is almost zero. By the time I get home from my appointment, all of the redness and tenderness is virtually gone. Everything that she does shows her knowledge and expertise in female anatomy. The best part of the experience is that Tam makes it nearly painless. The appointment is all about you. My hair needed a lot of corrective color to go from black cherry to blonde because I had used so dark color in it on my own, but Tamara at Creative Colors did it with ease. She came up with some custom formulations for corrective color and I am extremely pleased with the result. My hair came out a perfect warm blonde and still looks super healthy. I'll definetly be going back throughout the summer for more. More than that, Tamara and the rest of the staff are so sweet and down to earth. If you want to be treated right this is the place to go. I have lived in Reno for over a year and have gone to five different salons promising to give me a great hair cut. Each one failed. Then I randomly choose Creative Colours and found my hair stylist for LIFE! Without exaggerating they have the best everything. Best stylists, best hair products, best talent with the shears, best friendly people, best place to go hang out and talk while getting customized help. The owner did my hair and let me tell you, when you need a hairstyle to fit your face, attitude, personality, and style, they can't be beat! I'm from Brazil and ever since I came to the US I've been to fancy spas, top rated waxers, everything you can imagine. Most places are too worried about being fancy and end up doing a horrible job. One lady bruised me, the other waxed me on a chair! And then I found Tamara! At HW they make sure you are comfortable and relaxed, and they do it all for you (no hold here, pull there).
